New York City Dance Alliance Foundation performance benefitDestiny Rising showcases a snapshot of what we offer our youth,” remarks Joe Lanteri, founder and artistic director of NYCDA. “Our 20 scholarship recipients will dance together in a commissioned work and share the stage with professionals from the world’s largest companies, bookended by a whole new crop of dancers being awarded with support for their dance year ahead. It is a look at the trajectory of the career as a dance artist.”
