Audition dates announced for Boston Ballet School’s 2018 Summer Dance Program

2018 Summer Ballet Intensive Boston USABoston Ballet School’s Summer Dance Program (SDP) is a five-week intensive summer residential dance program for Pre-Professional level students from all around the world and gives young dancers the opportunity to work with Boston Ballet School’s internationally-renowned faculty. Meant for aspiring dancers ages 12–18, the program often serves as a stepping-stone to further professional ballet training at Boston Ballet School.

 

The 2018 SDP will run at Boston Ballet School’s Boston and Newton Studios from June 24–July 28. Participating students will undergo intensive classical ballet training in Technique, Pointe and Variations. Students will take class from renowned faculty members, including Boston Ballet’s Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen, Assistant Artistic Director Russell Kaiser and Boston Ballet School Director Margaret Tracey.

 

Pre-registration is now open for the 2018 SDP Audition Tour. Auditions will be held throughout the United States in January. See all audition dates and locations below.

Video auditions will also be accepted for domestic and international students until Wednesday, January 31, 2018, with a $50 fee.
