AXIS presents Dance Access Day

Dance Access Day in Oakland California’s AXIS Dance Company, one of the world’s most acclaimed ensembles for featuring performers with and without disabilities, will soon present Dance Access Day at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center Auditorium.

Described as “a day of dance, disability education, performance and fun”, this event is the company’s unique event for schools and children of all ages. AXIS dancers will perform innovative choreography that demonstrates how people with and without disabilities work together. The show includes audience participation so viewers should come prepared to dance and have a good time.

Teachers and principals can register their students for one of four different performances: Monday, October 10 at 9:30 or 11:30 am, or Tuesday, October 11 at 9:30 or 11:30 am. Registration is open through Tuesday, October 4.
