BalaSole presents Program of 10 Dancer/Choreographers

Roberto Villanueva, Founder/Artistic Director of BalaSole Dance Company, will present Voces, a new program of ten dancer/choreographers in a broad range of dance styles, music choices, and artistic voices on November 3 & 4 at Ailey Citigroup Theater, NYC.

The concert will include a variety of themes performed by a talented group of dancer/choreographers whose experience ranges from performing in works by Martha Graham, Lar Lubovitch, Robert Battle, Bill T. Jones, and Doug Varone, to appearing in Las Vegas and with the Radio City Rockettes.

The choreographers appearing in Voces are Lauren Alpert, Elijah Avraham, Nicole Calabrese, Caitlyn Casson, Sarah Ewing, Aaron Gregory. Morgana Rose Mellett, Emily Pacilio, Gina Pero and Roberto Villanueva.

Roberto Villanueva created BalaSole in 2010 because he decided that “it was time to create a multi-ethnic organization that would open its doors to underrepresented dance artists of all shapes, sizes, ages and backgrounds.”
