‘Ballet Under The Stars’ returns to Arizona

Every autumn, a special gift is bestowed upon the Arizona dance community when Ballet Arizona offers its free Ballet Under The Stars program. This wonderful program takes live ballet works into a park setting and performs to the public under the night sky.

It allows various Arizona communities to enjoy dance in a unique outdoor setting complete with a stage, lighting, costumes and beautiful Arizona weather. Locals can simply bring a blanket or lawn chair and take in a varied program, ranging from classical to contemporary.

The perfect show for the entire family, it is a great way to introduce ballet to children for the first time.

This year, Ballet Under The Stars will tour to the following locations on the associated dates:

September 21 – Beardsley Park, Sun City West

September 22 – Fountain Park, Fountain Hills

September 23 – Steele Indian School Park, Phoenix

September 28 – Tempe Center for the Arts Amphitheater, Tempe

September 30 – Estrella Lakeside Amphitheater, Goodyear
