BodyVox to offer 2017 Summer Intensive

Portland Summer Dance Intensive 2017Advanced student dancers ages 14 and up are invited to “study with a company unlike any working today” at the 2017 BodyVox Summer Intensive on August 21-25. BodyVox, a nationally recognized modern dance company based in Portland, Oregon, was founded by Emmy Award-winning dancers Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland. It’s known for performing highly innovative and theatrically rich repertory.

 

The Summer Intensive will consist of ballet technique classes, contemporary dance classes and choreographic workshops. It’s described as “an ideal opportunity to focus your technique and performance capacity while studying with a master performer and choreographer.”

 

Students will learn from faculty like Heather Jackson (Ballet), Sara Parker (Modern/Contemporary) and Vanessa Thiessen (Choreography.)

 

Running from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, the 2017 Summer Intensive will cost $300 for the week. Learn more and register at www.bodyvox.com.
