Chicago Dance Month highlights the breadth, diversity and artistic richness of the Chicago dance community. In addition to the dozens of dance performances taking place throughout the month, Chicago Dance Month partners are offering free events that welcome dance fans to an open rehearsal, a site-specific performance in an unusual venue or a discussion about the creation and presentation of dance. To introduce audiences to companies they might not have seen before, some partners will offer a special CDM25 Hot Deal of at least 25% off full-price tickets to their performances.

“During the past five years, Chicago Dance Month has brought attention to hundreds of performances and events throughout the Chicago area, and literally thousands of people have attended these events,” said Audience Architects Executive Director Heather Hartley. “Chicago Dance Month invites Chicagoans to experience our world-class dance industry in a variety of ways, such as attending a performance, taking a class or catching a behind-the-scenes peek at a rehearsal. The month-long celebration simultaneously shines a spotlight on dance and our city as one of the country’s primary cultural centers.”
