Dance teacher event coming to Hudson Valley

The Warwick Center for the Performing Arts in southwest New York will soon host the inaugural Hudson Valley Dance Teacher Conference. Set for August 27 and 28, dance teachers and studio owners are invited to spend two days connecting, networking and learning from other local teachers and directors, as well as highly sought after NYC dance professionals. 

The conference’s goal is to inspire dance educators to expand their knowledge as they prepare for their upcoming season. The classes and seminars, which will be held from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. each day, will look at somatics, wellness, technique and production. 

Registration costs $250 per participant and includes all seminars/classes, meet-and-greet coffee and breakfast, round table lunch and a Monday night networking mixer. Onsite childcare is also available. For studio owners, a special discount is being offered.
