The site-specific work is a poetic call for tolerance and peace in our world. For the 13th anniversary of 9/11, Artistic Director Jacqulyn Buglisi invites all dancers with professional experience to join her for this powerful message of peace from the cultural capital of America to the world.

The Table of Silence Project 9/11 ceremony takes place on the Josie Robertson Plaza at Lincoln Center on Thursday, September 11 at 8:15 a.m. Since 2011, over 400 dancers have participated in The Table of Silence, which has been viewed via live stream in 45 states and 82 countries.

The open call for professional dancers is Wednesday, August 20 at 7:45 p.m. at Steps on Broadway, NYC. Rehearsal and callbacks will be Thursday, August 21 at 3 p.m.

“The Table of Silence Project represents the common threads of humanity that unite all mankind into a single force with common goals and aspirations regardless of race, culture or religion,” said Jacqulyn Buglisi.
