River North Dance Chicago’s Summer Sundays

River North Dance Chicago will present Summer Sundays from July 24 to August 21. These one-day workshops will offer both intermediate/advanced and advanced/professional level classes with no audition required.

These workshops are a good fit for working dancers, busy families and/or summer intensive participants who have a busy calendar. They will enjoy two technique classes per workshop plus a choreographic experience with a leading professional choreographer.

Choreographers for the 2016 Summer Sundays include: Christian Denice (with the additions of Hanna Brictson and Laura Wade) on July 24; Hanna Brictson (with the additions of Julie Nakagawa, Margaret Palmer and Cole Vernon) on July 31; Monique Haley (with the additions of Claire Bataille, Imani English and Julie Nakagawa) on August 7; Ethan Kirschbaum (with the additions of Imani English and Jessica Wolfrum) on August 14; and Sherry Zunker (with the additions of Joe Caruana, Imani English and Mari Jo Irbe) on August 21.

Classes will take place at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, located at 1016 N. Dearborn Street in Chicago. They will run from 10 am through 4:30 pm at the advanced/professional level, and from 1 pm through 4:30 pm at the intermediate/advanced level. Registration is now open.
