‘Run The Night’ hosted by Jared Grimes

Jared Grimes event“Run The Night” is back on Monday, January 30! As one of New York City’s most explosive dance competitions, you won’t want to miss it!

 

The event brings together top agents, industry leaders and dance celebrities to critique and give constructive feedback to hand-selected amateur choreographers and dancers looking to break through. Hosted by renowned tapper Jared Grimes, it rewards the favorite choreographer with a $1,000 prize.

 

Grimes told Dance Informa, “’Run The Night’ is a competition showcase geared towards highlighting the strengths and potential of aspiring choreographers. Participants receive personal feedback from industry insiders and professionals who look to take their work to the next level. The $1,000 cash prize is just the icing on top of a high-energy evening built to introduce and mentor new choreographers.” 

 

Grimes said him and the “Run The Night” committee are accepting submissions for the upcoming show through January 27.

 

In the past, judges have included Bloc Agency, MSA, Clear Talent Group, Carla Hall from ABC’s The Chew, Jonte’ Moaning, Derick Grant and many more industry elites.

 

This night of performances will take place at Highline Ballroom at 431 W. 16th Street (between 9th and 10th Avenues) in NYC. Doors open at 6 pm and the show begins at 8 pm. Come out and help determine which dancemaker “runs the night!”
