Step Up 2 Dance prepares for 2016 events

The Step Up 2 Dance Tour has wrapped up its convention-only weekends this fall and is now looking ahead to competition season! Beginning in January, this upbeat, fun dance competition will tour to 24 cities across nine states!

Directed by Ricky Whitfield, Step Up 2 Dance offers a warm and inviting experience. Their mission is the same as it was in 1988 when the organization opened.

“We offer dance schools a positive, inspirational and quality event in a stress-free environment in which studio owners can be proud to bring their students and families,” wrote Owner Carol Wallace.

The goal is always to encourage all students to develop a lifelong passion for dance education. Step Up 2 Dance competitions limit enrollment and keeps performances on schedule so everything’s done at a reasonable hour. With knowledgeable adjudicators, professional staging and lighting, and quality trophies for every act, Step Up 2 Dance seeks to maintain its outstanding reputation.
