‘The Blues Project’ live onstage in Vail

Dorrance DanceOn Friday, August 10, extraordinary tap dancer and local favorite Michelle Dorrance returns to the Vail Dance Festival in Colorado with The Blues Project, a thrilling tap and blues experience. 

 

Created by Dorrance, Derick K. Grant, Toshi Reagon and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, and described by The Washington Post as “timeless and fearlessly experimental,” this groundbreaking show brings together the explosive tap dancing of Dorrance Dance and the lyrically powerful blues of composer Toshi Reagon and her band BIGLovely.
