USC Kaufman to host Paul Taylor intensive

Paul Taylor choreography taught at USC KaufmanThe USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance in Los Angeles takes pride in combining artistic preeminence with industry access at one of the nation’s top private research universities. It celebrates various high-profile collaborations throughout each year, with some of the world’s top choreographers and dance innovators working with students and visiting for special events. Its Summer Programs include a Hubbard Street Dance Chicago intensive, a Complexions Contemporary Ballet intensive and a Gaga intensive.

 

Now the school had announced that it will host a Paul Taylor American Modern Dance Summer Intensive as well. The five-day intensive with USC Kaufman professor Patrick Corbin will introduce dancers to the Paul Taylor style with technique and repertoire classes. It will run June 25-29 from 9 am to 5:45 pm, and students must be 16 years old and at least at an intermediate level of dance training in ballet and modern.
