NBC’s ‘World of Dance’ is casting for Season 2

NBC dance competition seriesNBC, Executive Producer Jennifer Lopez and dance brand World of Dance have announced the renewal of hit TV show World of Dance. The new dance competition series will return for its second season and it’s now casting talented and innovative dancers of all styles and ages from across the entire globe. The deadline for dancers to apply is November 3.

ZviDance set to premiere ‘LIKE’

Notable dancer Joseph Gifford passes away

Doris Humphrey and Charles Weidman Dance Company memberDancer, teacher, world traveler, author and spiritualist Joseph Gornbein Gifford recently passed away at age 97 of natural causes. Born May 14, 1920 in Niagara Falls, NY, Gifford was raised in Michigan before he moved to New York City to launch his professional career in dance. He was a member of the Doris Humphrey and Charles Weidman Dance Company. He later formed his own company, the Joseph Gifford Dance Theater.
