Cleveland master classes with Allison DeBona

Allison DeBonaBallet in Cleveland, a new organization seeking to facilitate and host ballet events in Cleveland, Ohio, will hold its first major event this Saturday, March 2. Allison DeBona, demi-soloist of Ballet West and star of the CW’s hit series Breaking Pointe, will grace the floors of the Gund Dance Studio inside Playhouse Square’s Idea Center for two master ballet classes.

 

The master classes will be broken up into two major age groups, with an 8-to-12-year-old class from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and a 13-to-18-year-old class from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. College-aged dancers are also invited to register for the 13-to-18-year-old class.

 

Following each of the exclusive ballet classes, DeBona will host a Q&A session and give out prizes, such as autographed headshots and Ballet in Cleveland dance bags.

 

Registration also includes: bottled water for participants to enjoy before and after the class, a Ballet in Cleveland water bottle for participants to take home and a photograph of DeBona and the student with his or her class (this will be mailed to the student’s residence one week following the event.)

 

In addition to these perks, students will also be given a nutrition bar from Real Food Barre and even be able to meet Julia Erickson and Aaron Ingley, professional dancers and CEOs of Real Food Barre.
