EVERYBODY DANCE documentary celebrates dance for kids with all abilities

EVERYBODY DANCE is the feel-good documentary of the fall. This extremely touching film explores the everyday life of kids with different disabilities and how ballet has changed their lives. The film lets us in the lives of five kids, and their incredible dance teacher, as they prepare for an emotional dance recital.

Dance is an empowering and equalizing force that offers children a way to feel capable and in control, teaching them discipline, focus, and social skills. EVERYBODY DANCE explores the daily lives of a group of remarkable children–the challenges, obstacles, and exhilaration that all kids feel–as they prepare for their recital. This film follows these children as they embark on an inspiring journey of self-discovery, dedication, achievement–and dance! All of the children take dance at an amazing studio called “Ballet for All Kids”. Producer, Dan Watt, followed these amazing kids and their families for 10 months to capture their inspiring stories.

“As a former dancer myself, I want to offer dancers insight on how your career path can change – turn left, turn right – but I’m still involved in dance 50 years later and have Produced and Directed my first film.  And it’s about dancers!” said producer Dan Watt.

EVERYBODY DANCE is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a 100% rating! The documentary is now available to rent or buy on VUDU, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV.

“In a world where the arts and dance are often removed from students’ curriculum this film makes a good case for how important and vital they are for both able-bodied and special needs children,” says Rachel Wagner of rachelsreviews.com
