Jared Grimes releases third single

Jared Grimes single STAYNew York-based tapper and choreographer Jared Grimes recently released his third single via a music video he produced and directed. Titled STAY, it features Grimes and fellow dancer Paula Tramutolo. [Watch it below.]

 

Teasing the new video, Grimes wrote on his social media three weeks ago, “The storyline and movement embody what it is to simply create a magic that makes two people inseparable.”

 

Also gushing excitement, Tramutolo posted on her Instagram two weeks ago, “It’s a beautiful story line between two people connecting. So happy I was a part of [this] creation!”

 

Perhaps most well known for his tap dancing, Grimes is also leaving his mark in the hip-hop scene. A teacher at Broadway Dance Center, he has danced alongside legends such as Wynton Marsalis, Gregory Hines, Ben Vereen, Jerry Lewis and Fayard Nicholas on numerous occasions. He’s also performed for Barack Obama and Ted Kennedy at the Kennedy Center, toured with Mariah Carey under the choreography of Marty Kudelka, and danced for artists such as Common, Salt-n-Pepa, Envogue, Busta Rhymes and the Roots. He’s performed on Broadway and has appeared in various commercials. Grimes made his choreography debut with Cirque Du Soleil.

 

Tramutolo, on the other hand, is a freelancing dancer, model and actress. She recently performed in Flamenco Latino, on GameShakers on Nickelodeon, with choreographer Frida Linnea Persson, and in the Bahamas with Grasso Magic.
