Peridance Capezio Center celebrates 35th

Peridance Capezio Center in NYC is celebrating its 35th year with a special one-night-only gala concert. Stunning performances by Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, Peridance’s faculty, The Youth Ensemble, The School at Peridance, The Certificate Program and Intensive Semester Students will be presented on Saturday, June 9 at 7 p.m. at NYU Skirball.

With special guest Elizabeth Parkinson and a tribute to Peridance’s beloved faculty member, world-renowned house and hip-hop dancer, choreographer and teacher Marjory Smarth (1969-2015), the evening promises to be unforgettable.

In addition, the gala will also celebrate Peridance’s pianist Raisa Umanskaya, who has been playing for its ballet classes for 25 years.
