So You Think You Dance Returns this Summer for 17th Season

After nearly a three-year hiatus, FOX’s multi-Emmy Award-winning dance competition series So You Think You Can Dance is back for a 17th season! This season will feature highly skilled dancers between the ages of 18 and 30, showcasing their talents in various dance styles. The search is on again for “America’s Favorite Dancer”!

It was revealed that SYTYCD Co-Creator Nigel Lythgoe, will not be returning to the judges’ panel in a March 4 Tweet: “I am so thrilled that America’s young aspiring dance talent will get to work with some of our greatest creative choreographers. On a personally sad note, I have not been asked to be on the judging panel this season. I don’t know who will be saying “Cue Music” but I wish them well.” Questions still remain as to if Cat Deeley will return as host, or Mary Murphy will return to the judges’ panel.
