APAP 2015 at Peridance Capezio Center
On January 10 and 11, Peridance Capezio Center will present more than 20 dance companies in the Salvatore Capezio Theater for the 2015 Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) Conference taking place in New York City.
Peridance Capezio Center’s fully-curated APAP Showcases are designed to feature artists and dance companies to the APAP conference attendees, providing an unparalleled opportunity for companies and choreographers to showcase their work within a professional platform, with direct contact to arts presenters, agents and producers from across the globe. Past participating artists have booked engagements at the Joyce Theater, Joyce SoHo, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and Dance Salad, as well as teaching appointments and commissions with prestigious companies.
Program A will be presented on Saturday, January 10 at 8 p.m. and again on Sunday, January 11 at 1 p.m. Companies and artists include: Project20, FJK Dance, JT Horenstein, Urbanity Dance, Bryn Cohn + Artists, Ate9 Dance Company, Visceral Dance Chicago, Manuel Vignoulle – M/motions, Patricia Kenny Dance Collection, Spellbound Contemporary Ballet and Peridance Contemporary Dance Company.
Program B will be presented on Sunday, January 11 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Companies and artists include: Mystic Ballet, ELSCO Dance, Vacanti Ballets, dawsondancesf, Steven Blandino, Bellydance Evolution, Suzanne Beahrs Dance, Conteur Dance Company, Monteleone Dance Collective, L.A. Contemporary Dance Company and Peridance Contemporary Dance Company.
Each program will run approximately 75 minutes with no intermission. General admission tickets are $15 and now available, but note that performances often sell out. The showcases are free for attendees/presenters with an APAP badge.
