Avant Chamber Ballet Presents “Snow White” Premiere
Avant Chamber Ballet presents the last performance of the season – Snow White on May 3-4, 2024 at Moody Performance Hall in the Dallas Arts District. The company’s 11th season finishes with the biggest show of the year and a world premiere created by artistic director Katie Puder.
“This is such an amazing way to end this season with a completely new work at such a large scale,” said Artistic Director Katie Puder. “This show is for audiences of all ages and guaranteed to be a magical evening filled with beauty and drama for everyone!”
Find yourself transported into a storybook world of Grimm’s fairy tales with magic mirrors, malicious queens, and one of the most famous stories of all time. Journey with these classic characters as they prove that real beauty comes from within and celebrate the power of friendship and love with this family-friendly ballet.
The production will feature a score by Tchaikovsky performed live plus new sets created by Dallas Children’s Theater Center and costumes by Susan Austin and Ann Boyce. This is Avant Chamber Ballet at its best: bringing together world-class dance and live orchestra with enchanting family entertainment and story-telling.
