Dance Life Teacher Conference Georgia Deane Memorial Scholarship applications now open

Dance Life Teacher Conference welcomes you to join them in celebrating the legacy of Georgia Deane!

Miss Georgia passed in November of 2021, at the age of 102. For years, her presence at the DanceLife Teacher Conference and the DanceLife Retreat Center brought joy to thousands of dance teachers and studio owners from across the world. Standing ovations along with cheering audiences filled the ballroom anytime she performed at the DLTC Galas.

Georgia and Rhee’s conversations would mesmerize all attendees. Her wit, philosophies for living a long and fulfilling life, and her years of experience as a performer, dance teacher, and studio owner brought joy to so many attendees. Miss Georgia taught classes well into her hundredth year, and she will be missed for many more than that.

To honor and remember their friend, Georgia Deane, the Rhee Gold Company will present 10 full scholarships for the 2023 DanceLife Teacher Conference. If coming to the conference is on your list this summer, and you need assistance, they encourage you to submit an application!

In order to apply, there is a minimum age of 18 along with 3 years of experience teaching dance or studio ownership. Applicants must submit a completed application by March 17. Consideration will be based on financial need. Scholarship winners will be announced on the Rhee Gold’s Dance Teacher Events Facebook page and winners will be notified through email by April 3, 2023.
