IGNITE presented by The Big Muddy Dance Company
The Big Muddy Dance Company presents the first main stage production of its 2022-2023 Launch Season, in-person in St. Louis October 28-29 and streaming online November 4-6. IGNITE highlights The Big Muddy’s artists in innovative works by some of the nation’s leading dance makers.
This collection of world premieres displays the power and versatility of The Big Muddy’s dancers, featuring choreography by guest choreographers Norbert De La Cruz III and Thang Dao, Artistic Director Kirven Douthit-Boyd, and company dancers Geoff Alexander and Brandon Fink. IGNITE is also the company’s first performance under the leadership of newly appointed Artistic Director Kirven Douthit-Boyd.
The Big Muddy Dance Company seeks to invigorate life through dance. The Big Muddy Dance Company is a St. Louis-based repertory dance company that builds a love of dance by providing fun, experiential, and highly entertaining performances. By engaging both emerging and established choreographers, collaborating across the community through performances and outreach, and training future artists through their school and trainee program, they constantly strive to invigorate life through dance.
IGNITE in-person performances will take place at the Catherine B. Berges Theatre at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) in St. Louis on October 28 & 29. General Admission tickets are $35 and VIP tickets are $45. The performance will be streamed online November 4-6 and tickets are $20 for the virtual performance.
