Mark DeGarmo Dance Global Dance Circle for Social Change Applications are Open Now
Mark DeGarmo Dance is seeking 10-second long video submissions from anyone (artists of any discipline, non-artists, dancers or non-dancers) who wants to move and share their expression. All submissions will be compiled into one final Global Dance Circle video and shared on social media. The 10th Global Dance Circle video will be shared on December 21st (the winter solstice) with the theme: “Celebration.”
MDD’s Global Dance Circle for Social Changes launched in 2020 to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on human health and well-being. As of December 21, 2024, editions 1-9 featured over 618 dancers from 36 countries, and 22 U.S. states. The December 2024 broadcast featured 112 dancers, musicians, and performing artists from 5 countries: Bangladesh, Canada, Greece, Switzerland, and the United States, and 8 US states: Alabama, California, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Professional and recreational dancers are all invited to submit a clip. To be included in MDD’s next “Global Dance Circle for Social Change” video, click here to complete the Google Form.

Deadline to submit is Friday, August 29th at 11:59 PM EST.
