School of Nashville Ballet Auditions Open for 2025 Summer Intensive

School of Nashville Ballet has announced it is now accepting video auditions for their 2025 Summer Intensives that includes Nashville Ballet’s Company Immersion Intensive and Contemporary Intensive. Admission to School of Nashville Ballet Summer Intensive is by audition only, and the school has now moved into the next phase by accepting video auditions with the expectation the program will reach capacity in the next few weeks. Audition videos will be accepted until the program fills capacity with the deadline being March 20.

In addition, Nashville Ballet is currently accepting registration applicants for both the Junior and Adult Intensives (no audition necessary).

Dancers who participate in any Nashville Ballet’s Immersive and Contemporary Intensive sessions will automatically be considered for Nashville Ballet’s Second Company (NB2) and year-round programs.

Nick Mullikin, CEO and Artistic Director, Maria Konrad, Director of Nashville Ballet’s Second Company – NB2, Dmitri Kulev, School of Nashville Ballet Director & Head of Men’s Program and Jennifer Kulev, School of Nashville Ballet Director, with other special guests, will provide concentrated instruction to participants this summer.

“This program is designed not only to enhance technique and strength but also to inspire creativity,” said Dmitri Kulev,renowned instructor and Co-Director of School of Nashville Ballet. “Our goal is for every dancer to leave feeling empowered, with a deeper understanding of their craft and the confidence to pursue their dreams.” 

Two new program offerings of note are Nashville Ballet’s Company Immersion Intensive for ages 17 – 22 with pre-professional or professional dance experience. This selective five-week program is designed to turn students into well-rounded artists. The Adult Dance Intensive is designed to elevate and refine technique and deepen an understanding of ballet and other dance practices. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or want to try something new, this program offers a supportive and challenging environment for adult dancers of all levels.

Under the direction of Artistic Director Nick Mullikin, students will expand their choreographic repertoire, refine their technique, and develop their artistry through a variety of advanced training sessions. 

“At Nashville Ballet’s Summer Intensive, we aim to challenge each dancer while nurturing their unique artistry,” said Jennifer Kulev, renowned instructor and Co-Director of School of Nashville Ballet.   

Company Immersion Intensive participants will take daily training classes and engage in rehearsals while collaborating with exclusive choreographers and Nashville-based musicians. This structured environment will provide insight into the dedication, teamwork and innovation required in a professional setting. In the final two weeks, the program will transform into an immersive company experience, allowing dancers to explore what life is like as a company member. The dancer’s experience will culminate in a live performance production.
