The School of Aspen Santa Fe Ballet is seeking full-time skilled ballet faculty with an emphasis on early childhood development (ages 3-10).
Qualified candidates must:
Hold a terminal degree or have equivalent professional experience in ballet
Demonstrate the ability to teach all ages 3 years to adult
Demonstrate the ability to teach all levels of ballet technique, including pre ballet, pointe and variations
Have at least two years of experience teaching technique and choreography to children and teens
Have good, clear communication skills both in person and via email.
As a full-time faculty member, successful candidates must be interested in learning, growing and continued engagement in practices that serve a variety of community needs. Candidates will embrace a vigorous teaching schedule that may include teaching 6 days per week and weekend rehearsals and should be available to commute between the four Aspen area locations. Salary is commensurate with experience.
