EMERGE125’s 2026 Summer Events
Summer is just around the corner, and EMERGE125 has a full schedule of events ready to keep you moving through it, from annual touchstones like Juneteenth March in Central Park and the NYC Summer Dance Workshop to exciting live performances at Jamaica Dance Festival and New Victory Dance.
As E125 gears up for a busy summer, the company also celebrates their recent performances at El Museo del Barrio, where the company premiered new works by Tiffany Rea-Fisher as well as recognized 10 years of Rea-Fisher’s fearless leadership. E125 was overjoyed to finally share this work with the world, and the company continues to be in awe of the love and support shown by our community.
E125 kicks off the summer with the 7th Annual Juneteenth March 4M Run, Walk & Roll (6/19), a march in Central Park celebrating the health and wellness of Black people as well as commemorating the initial marches of 2020 in New York City. Then, catch E125 performing I Want You at 2026 Jamaica Dance Festival (6/27) at Rufus King Park in Queens. In July, E125 hosts its annual 2-week educational intensive NYC Summer Dance Workshop (7/20 – 7/31) at Marymount Manhattan College, featuring daily classes in a variety of dance genres, plus optional cultural experiences and opportunities. The company is back on stage at New Victory Dance 2026 (7/29), performing Behavioral Synchrony at a mini-festival curated specifically for kids. E125 is also excited to announce that Rea-Fisher and Company Dancer Madelyn Canaj will be travelling to Skopje, North Macedonia for an international residency (June 15-23).
As summer approaches, EMERGE125 continues to energise New York’s cultural landscape with a vibrant lineup of performances, community gatherings, and educational opportunities. From the streets of Central Park to international stages, the company remains committed to expanding the reach and impact of dance through bold creation, powerful performance, and meaningful education. With Tiffany Rea-Fisher’s visionary leadership at the helm, EMERGE125 invites audiences to join them in celebrating movement, culture, and community this season.
