Peridance hosts auditions across the globe

Peridance Capezio Center, one of New York’s top dance centers, is currently in the midst of hosting a National Audition Tour for dancers interested in applying for one of its following programs: the two-year Certificate Program for ages 17-25; the BLUEPRINT program for ages 17-22 on August 8-20; and its Teen Intensive for ages 13-17 on June 27-July 17.

The National Audition Tour has already visited Los Angeles and San Francisco and in the coming weeks will hit Chicago, Seattle, Denver, Atlanta, Miami and Tampa. It will also host another New York audition at its home studios. Click here for all domestic tour dates and venues.

In addition, representatives for Peridance Capezio Center will also be holding auditions in cities around the globe as part of the Peridance International Audition Tour. Having already held tryouts in Israel, England, Germany, France and Italy, officials will soon visit Japan, Chile, Argentina, Korea, the Netherlands and France (again) from March through May. Peridance’s two-year Certificate Program allows performers to intensely train alongside its vibrant dance community in the heart of New York City while preparing for a professional career in dance. Peridance’s renowned faculty and comprehensive curriculum prepares students to be “technically accomplished, versatile and fully equipped to be successful.” The program offers two tracks: Ballet/Contemporary and Commercial. Each track offers a minimum of three classes a day, five days a week.

The BLUEPRINT Summer Intensive program, set for August 8-20, is designed to push and further advance pre-professional ballet and contemporary dancers, ages 17-22. It exposes students to some of the top local and global instructors and encourages the formation of important industry relationships.

Lastly, the Teen Intensive is Peridance’s three-week comprehensive training program designed for dancers ages 13-17. An experienced and knowledgeable faculty strongly emphasizes clean technique and self-discipline within a nurturing and supportive environment.
