Be Seen by an Agent at Peridance’s THE COLLECTION

Peridance presents THE COLLECTION on Sunday, May 1 from 2:00-8:00 pm, a day-long intensive with Professional Dance Artists currently working in the industry. An Agent from Clear Talent Group will be present for the full intensive and available to interact with dancers throughout the day.

The day will culminate in an Industry Discussion with all three Professional Dance Artists and the Agent, followed by time to network with all intensive participants. Participants are required to attend the full day of the intensive.

The line-up of Dance Artists includes: Kenichi Kasamatsu, Pauline Casiño, and Esosa Oviasu.

Kenichi Kasamatsu is a professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer based in New York City. He has performed on various stages and venues, ranging from Daddy Yankee’s concert at Madison Square Garden, to YouTube’s private Brandcast event choreographed by Kyle Hanagami, to events such as Carnival and Sybarite at the Highline Ballroom. Kenichi is currently permanent faculty at the Peridance Center in NYC, as well as guest faculty at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center. Additionally, he travels the nation with several organizations as both an instructor and adjudicator.

Pauline Casiño found her love for the arts of dance and performance at the early age of 8. Moving to NYC at the age of 12 allowed her to begin dabbling into various disciplines of dance and train with Hip Hop Theory under the mentorship of Moe Dean. She slowly began integrating herself into the NY community circuit and later found herself transitioning into the professional industry. Pauline is currently signed with Clear Talent Group and has worked with brands such as Adidas, Nike, Adorama and Glow Recipe

As a choreographer, teacher, and dancer, Esosa Oviasu was largely self-taught in Popping and Breaking by 2007. It wasn’t until the following year, that he moved back to New York City and began to formally train in these styles, under legends such as Jazzy J and Boogaloo Kin. He is currently the Artistic and Executive Director of his dance team, The Neighbors. He is also a member of EPIC Motion Dance Company, with whom he aims to broaden his dance vocabulary as well as his range of style.
