ADCC scholarship deadline is August 1

The Association of Dance Conventions & Competitions (The ADCC) is a nonprofit association united to promote quality, integrity and opportunity within the dance competition and convention industry. A core component of The ADCC’s mission is to support excellence by providing college scholarships for outstanding young dancers.

Any 2016 graduating high school senior who has been accepted to a four-year accredited college or university program for the 2016-17 school year, and who has competed in at least two ADCC member competition events during the 2015-16 Season, is eligible to apply for and receive an ADCC 2016 College Dance Scholarship. Applying is easy. Students just need to complete the online application form and provide a personal essay, a letter of recommendation from their dance studio director or teacher, a high school transcript, and a headshot.

Applications should be submitted online at www.theadcc.org/scholarships/2016-scholarship-application. The application deadline is 5 pm on August 1, 2016.

Scholarships are expected to range from $500 to $1,000 and will be sent directly to colleges that the winning students attend. For questions, email erin@theadcc.org.
