Steps Repertory Ensemble tours to The Pillow

Steps Repertory Ensemble touring to Jacob's PillowSteps Repertory Ensemble, led by Artistic Director Bradley Shelver, will soon tour to the historic Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Western Massachusetts to perform on its Henry J. Leir Stage at the Inside/Out Performance Space, more formally known as the Marcia and Seymour Simon Performance Space.

Inside/Out is one of three stages at Jacob’s Pillow and the only one outdoors. Offering a performance space unlike any other, its backdrop is the gorgeous Berkshires, green and lush in the summertime. Guests sit on wooden benches and are welcome to bring picnics to enjoy during the free performances that are offered Wednesdays-Saturdays at 6:15 p.m. during the festival’s annual summer program.

Offering a virtuosic and energetic evening of dance, Steps Repertory Ensemble will close this year’s free outdoor performances on Saturday, August 29. That same week, Kristen Foote Dance Project will perform The History of Her on Wednesday, August 26, Nimbus Dance Works will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Thursday, August 27, and Dancing Classrooms Youth Dance Company will present a variety of ballroom dances on Friday, August 28.
