Arts Ballet Theatre Of FL invited to Poland
The Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, under the direction of Maestro Vladimir Issaev, is about to finish its 15th season with two eagerly awaited performances on May 11 and 12 in Ft. Lauderdale and Aventura. With less than a month left of a spectacular season, Issaev and two dancers are preparing to venture to Poland. Issaev was recently invited to judge an international competition and was asked to bring principal dancers to be featured in the Gala performance.
Issaev and dancers Jun Tanabe and Kaori Fukui are excited to represent the company in Poland. On April 24 through the 26, they will be showing off their wares and partaking in the best Polska Kielbasa on the planet.
The Ballet Foundation and The Opera House at the Castle are the hosts of the event, and the aim of the International Ballet Contest “Golden Pointe Shoes 2013” in Szczecin, Poland, is to present, promote and support young talented dancers on their way to their professional careers. Issaev’s reputation garnered him a request to represent the United States as one of the judges of the competition.
Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, under the artistic direction of Ballet Master and choreographer Issaev, is a vibrant and accomplished ballet company founded in 1997 offering a very unique repertoire and outreach programs to the South Florida community.
The company’s repertoire includes works by such classical ballet masters as Petipa, Bournonville and Fokine, as well as guest choreographers such as Josee Garant, Edgar Anido, Yanis Pikieris and original choreographic works by its director, Issaev. In Poland, principal dancers Jun Tanabe and Kaori Fukui have been invited to perform the Le Corsaire pas de deux, which is one of the special features in the closing performances of the 15th Season Gala coming up in May.
