Complete Dancer Series returns to Steps
The Complete Dancer Series will return to The School at Steps for the 2014-15 Academic Year. The school will once again host educational events including College Day, the Pointe Shoe Workshop & Fair, and an Injury Prevention Workshop. All programs are designed to teach and promote well-rounded healthy dancers.
The first event in the series is College Day on Sunday, November 16. The Pointe Shoe Workshop is next, set for Sunday, February 8, 2015. Then the Injury Prevention Workshop will be Sunday, April 12, 2015.
Previous guest speakers and panelists at Complete Dancer Series’ events have included: Misty Copeland (American Ballet Theatre Soloist), Kurt Froman (Choreographer and former New York City Ballet dancer), Erin Kernion (Rockette), Paloma Garcia-Lee (Broadway performer), Savannah Lowery (NYCB Soloist), Sara Mearns (NYCB Principal) and Tiler Peck (NYCB Principal.)
