Dancing in Pink for a Cure

Yesterday, Sunday October 16, 115 women and 10 men at the ICI Center at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach danced the afternoon away to join the fight against breast cancer. The Party in Pink Zumbathon, led by 12 Zumba instructors, raised money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and was one of thousands of events being held across the country this month as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month. A handful of breast cancer survivors joined the dance party, alongside those who danced with them to raise funds for research into the cancer’s cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.
