Ginger Cox leads Partnering Workshop

Ginger Cox leads Improvisation Partnering WorkshopCelebrated dance educator Ginger Cox is preparing to offer an Improvisation Partnering Workshop this Thursday, July 13 at Chelsea Studios in NYC. Set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., dancers 18 and older are invited to discover new ways to work with a partner, to reinvent their dance process and to be inspired by new ideas.

 

Cox is on faculty at Broadway Dance Center, Pace University, the Joffrey Ballet Contemporary Jazz Program and the Pulse Teacher’s Workshop. She’s taught master classes throughout the world and has choreographed for Nike, recording artist Lijie, the NJ Nets Dancers, Collaborative Movement Dance Company, and was one of 10 chosen to present work on the Élan Awards, honoring legendary choreographer Lar Lubovitch.

 

As the artistic director of LiNK! the movement dance company, Cox’s work has been presented at numerous festivals and fundraisers. She holds a Masters Degree in Kinesiology from ATSU and a BFA in Dance from Temple University.
