New Staff for Manhattan Youth Ballet

Manhattan Youth Ballet (MYB) has announced additions to its staff beginning in the fall:  New York City Ballet Principal Dancer Daniel Ulbricht as Artistic Advisor, working in collaboration with the school’s Founder and Executive Artistic Director Rose Caiola; Brian Reeder as Choreographer-in-Residence; and Karen Lacy as a member of the faculty.  Natalia Boesch, Erin Fogarty, Marina Stavitskaya, and Deborah Wingert remain as faculty members, among others.

 

As Artistic Advisor, Daniel Ulbricht will oversee the execution of MYB’s curriculum, work with the team on all performances, and teach at the school. 

 

Brian Reeder (Choreographer-in-Residence) has danced for New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and William Forsythe’s Ballet Frankfurt. 

 

Karen Lacy will join the teaching faculty. A graduate of Skidmore College, she is currently a teaching artist in the New York City Public Schools with American Ballet Theatre as well as a senior fitter and dance teacher liaison for Gaynor Minden.
