NYC tango show ‘La Tangueria: Arte Tango’

Tango master dancers Gabriel Misse and Analia Centurion New Generation Dance Company, directed by Dardo Galletto and Karina Romero, will once again transport audiences to the colorful barrios of Buenos Aires to encounter authentic Argentine Tango and original choreography by Galletto on Saturday, November 16 in New York City.

 

The performance, entitled La Tangueria: Arte Tango, will present special guests and renowned tango masters Gabriel Misse and Analia Centurion. Music will include compositions by Astor Piazzolla, Osvaldo Pugliese, Carlos di Sarli and many others. The performance will be presented from 9 to 10 p.m. at the Galletto Studios, located at 151 West 46th Street on the 11th floor in New York City.

 

The show will be preceded by a tango class, set from 8:15 to 9 p.m., and will be followed by a Milonga, beginning immediately after the performance and continuing till 1 a.m. This Milonga will have a special feature, as it will include a celebration of Gabriel Misse’s birthday.

 

In addition, Misse and Centurion will be teaching tango seminars at various times between November 7-17 at the Galletto Studios. The duo was recently seen in performances at City Center’s Fall for Dance Series, where they thrilled the audiences.
