Quickstep for Kindness
Did you know that despite the enormous popularity of ballroom dance in the US, that the best high school and collegiate teams in the country almost never have the opportunity to compete outside their region? The eagerly anticipated Quickstep for Kindness contest is now fully underway and submissions are being accepted from high school and collegiate dance teams who are eager to showcase how ballroom dance has a positive impact on their community.
Quickstep for Kindness began this August 23rd and will culminate in March 2013 at the United States National Amateur Dancesport Championships at Brigham Young University (BYU). Contestants will be judged on a 60 second or less influential video on how they are bringing about positive changes in their community with the use of their ballroom dancing talents.
