Seattle Tappers win Run the Night on Broadway
New York’s most explosive dance competition hit Broadway tonight at BB Kings Blues Club on 42nd Street. Run The Night, produced by Jared Grimes and Cheryl Cutlip brought up-and-coming talent to the stage in front of industry judges, including Dance Informa’s Deborah Searle. There was not an empty seat in the house as the audience enjoyed dynamic, cheeky and inspiring tap, hip hop and contemporary numbers by competing troupes and special guest performances from Amountboyz and emerging choreographer Dana Fogila. Tappers Josh Scribner and Vikas Arun from Seattle took the top prize as the entire cast of performers took the stage for a fun free style show down.
