SYTYCD teams up with the Vyclone app
So You Think You Can Dance is teaming up with the popular app Vyclone to allow viewers to create, upload and share videos of themselves dancing alongside their favorite contestants from past seasons. The Vyclone app will automatically combine and remix user-generated dance videos with dancers from the show. Viewers can record themselves dancing to a newly released SYTYCD song each week.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with So You Think You Can Dance on this groundbreaking promotion,” said Vyclone CEO and Co-Founder David King Lassman. “Vyclone’s collaborative video platform is perfectly suited to bring fan engagement in shows like this to a whole new level. We are delighted that Vyclone’s revolutionary technology is being showcased by such a prestigious production as So You Think You Can Dance.”
Nigel Lythgoe, SYTYCD co-creator, executive producer and judge, said, “I am thrilled to be able to provide our fans with an opportunity of dancing on the show.”
To download the free Vyclone app, visit the Apple App Store, Windows Market Place or the Google Play Store, and watch Nigel Lythgoe explain how to use Vyclone here: www.fox.com/dance/dance-party.
The competition for America’s favorite dancer began this week on the season’s first live show – and the series’ 200th live episode. Each of the Top 20 finalists was paired with another finalist specializing in the same style.
